Detailed Story
In a futuristic Los Angeles, former police officer Parker Barnes is imprisoned for killing the man who murdered his family. He is selected to test a new virtual reality simulation designed to train law enforcement, featuring "SID 6.7," a synthetic entity. When SID 6.7 escapes by tricking a technician into transferring him into an android body, Barnes is offered a full pardon if he can track down and destroy the killer. During his hunt, Barnes rescues a young girl, Karin Carter, who is held hostage by SID.
