When a sports rivalry between West Appleton and East Appleton high schools ends in a tie, the mayors decide to settle the score using a sport both schools play: bowling. West Appleton's popular basketball star and a group of bowling-loving outcasts must team up. They learn to set aside their social differences to win the championship and prove that friendship is more important than trophies.
