Kaley Cuoco is opening up about motherhood with her signature honesty—and a good dose of humor. The Vanished star, 40, shared a relatable take on parenting while offering a lighthearted tip for families navigating life with young kids.

Cuoco is mom to her two-year-old daughter, Matilda, and while she firmly believes there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to raising children, she’s picked up plenty of wisdom along the way. Speaking with Extra in an interview released Wednesday (Jan. 21), she credited her close circle of fellow moms for helping her learn as she goes.
“I have some amazing friends who have kids who I’ve become close with, and we have an incredible mom group,” she said. “They’re all wonderful, and I’ve learned so much from my friends and their kids.”
Between shared experiences, mutual support, and plenty of laughs, Cuoco makes it clear she’s embracing motherhood one day at a time—advice, lollipops, and all.
When people turn to her for parenting guidance, Kaley Cuoco is quick to point out that there’s no universal rulebook. She says motherhood has taught her that every child—and every family—is completely different, making blanket advice pretty much impossible.
“People always ask me, ‘What would your advice be for this or that?’ I have none,” Cuoco admitted. “What I’ve learned is that your child and you are totally different from the next person.”
She even poked fun at her own parenting choices, joking that what works in one household might not work in another. “Just because my kid watched Game of Thrones at two doesn’t mean your kid should—or shouldn’t,” she said with a laugh. “It worked for us, and I’m okay with that.”
That said, Cuoco does have one tip she swears by—and it’s delightfully simple: lollipops. She revealed that she now keeps them everywhere, from pockets and cars to shoes and even her bra. “You pull one out and suddenly it’s lollipop time,” she joked, calling it a total “game changer.”
Ultimately, Cuoco stressed that judgment has no place in parenting. “I would never judge another parent for what they do with their kid,” she said. “Only you know your child. Only I know mine.”
